1894 to 1910 creamer . 1903 to 1910 sugar bowl - The lion and the unicorn. Great Britain - Toronto Canada. Heraldic Crest Items. Armorial. Coat of Arms. Interesting what the symbols mean, I looked up some: Unicorn: extreme courage; virtue and strength. Lion: dauntless courage. Harp: well-composed person of tempered judgment; contemplation; mystical bridge between heaven and earth. Chains: reward for acceptable and weighty service. With crowns and collars, this suggests the bearer bore the chain of obligation or obliged others because of services done. Flowers usually represent hope and joy. It's very interesting to look up all the symbols and what they mean. I listed a few but I left more for you to discover. Everything had significance; The flowering, the colors, the words, crowns, etc. Dieu et mon droit means God and my right. ho·ni soit qui mal y pense means Shame on him who thinks evil of it. Measurements: Creamer 3.5" x 2.75" Sugar 3.5"x2;25" No damages.
